As a new school, the Phuket International Academy Day School (PIADS) campus is growing and changing rapidly. All the classrooms and science laboratories are air conditioned, spacious, designed to let in natural light and well equipped, including state of the art computer and audiovisual systems, providing an attractive learning environment for students and teachers.

A modern, stainless steel kitchen provides for the varied and international menu using organic products and ingredients whenever possible. Each meal includes a Thai, western and vegetarian selection, as well as salads and fruits.

The library now houses an extensive collection of fiction and non-fiction books for each level:books to support the programmes in Early Childhood, Junior and Middle Schools, books for professional development for teachers and a selection of periodicals. The audio visual resources to support the academic programme are also stored in the library.

PIADS has ready access to the adjacent Phuket International Academy Sports and Leisure Club which offers first class facilities which include a 50 metre pool with electronic timing and a 25 metre pool. Within the school grounds there is a designated Physical Education and multi-purpose hall, an artificial turf soccer field, and an all-weather basketball/volleyball court. Outdoor and covered tennis courts are planned for the future. Visual and Performing Arts also have separate well-lit classrooms for Art, Drama and Music.

PIADS has appointed an architectural firm specializing in educational buildings, for the Middle and Senior school to be built adjacent to the present school buildings within the next 2 years. These buildings will include purpose built classrooms, laboratories, seminar and workshop rooms as well as an administrative centre, facilities for visual and performing arts, a library, cafeteria and gymnasium.
